Unimix Sets New Concrete Pumping Record

Unimix achieved a groundbreaking world record by pumping concrete to 622 meters in a single stage in November 2007—surpassing the previous record. Utilizing Putzmeister BSA-14000 SHPD high-pressure pumps, we delivered a challenging, low water-cement ratio HPC mix. So far, over 305,000 cubic meters of this high-performance concrete have been supplied, ensuring strength, flawless consolidation, and exceptional durability to Burj Khalifa Project. With the support of the Samsung-Besix-Arabtec JV’s precision concrete placement methods, the Burj Khalifa stands as a testament to Unimix’s role in redefining high-rise construction.
